The Joker

This is my Heath Ledger Joker from dark knight. I made him for my elective. He is made of fibre glass, and I made him a wig of human hair.

I'm currently making a fibre glass Heath Ledger Joker for my elective.  

I'm still working on the wig, which is the next step in finishing him. The only thing I have not made from scratch are the eyes. Everything else on the picture is made of fibre glass.

Arthur Rackham

This is another picture I made based on an Arthur Rackham painting. I gave it stronger colours because I knew that the person I were going to give it to would like that, and she did :) 

Rolling Stones

I made this as a Christmas present for my aunt and uncle. 

And inside they found this picture. It was a picture my uncle wanted for his new pub.

Odin

This painting is based on a painting by Arthur Rackham, and I painted it after a request. I'm a big fan of Arthur Rackham paintings, so I was happy to give it a try.  

The Europeans

I was project manager in this show, and in my scenic arts team I had 3 other members. This show was out up in The Unicorn Theatre in London. 

The lid  on the box was lifted by a chain hoist for one of the scenes. 

 We made shutters for this show, that glided on a triple E system. on the next picture the shutters are hiding behind the flats that we also had to build.

 The only regret I have about this show,  is that this was the last show I did as a student at Rose Bruford College.

As it is in Heaven And Deliver us from evil

This production was put up in The rose at Rose Bruford College. 

We were a team of 5 scenic artists. 

In this production there was a lot of stuff to build, and a lot of painted wood grain.  Most of the stuff in the pictures are made by us, including the 4 benches. we did not make the table and chairs. 

The Wonderful world of Dissocia

This is a show I worked on in my 2nd year at Rose Bruford. The Wonderful world of Dissocia is a play by Anthony Neilson, and it was putt up in The Unicorn Theatre in London.  The set consisted of a 6 m tall wall with a bend in it. The stage and the wall was covered by a carpet that we painted a pattern on to. 

 We were 5 team scenic artist working on this one, so we made each our flower in polystyrene

Other than the flowers we had to make a "kids" car. 

I had a lot of fun on this show, we got to work with a processional Director, and in a professionally venue. We were a strong team of scenic artists, and everyone I worked with made the experience a wonderful one. I became the "Jigsaw master" on this one! :) 

Blue Dragon

I made this dragon as a Christmas present for my younger brother.

Sign

This was a 1st year project, where I made a sign for the stage management department at Rose Bruford. The book and the cup are made of polystyrene. 

Gut Girls

 This is the first show I worked on at Rose Bruford College. It was a very educating experience, because this was the first time I got do do any construction. We were a team of three scenic artist building and painting this set, so I'm not going to take all the credit, because we all did a lot.

Molossian dog

 This project was fantastic. It was the first time I had done anything like this. The project were to find an 3D object in the British Museums' Egyptian of Roman department.

I absolutely fell in love with the sculpture of the Molossian dog, which is a marble sculpture, it also goes under the mane Jennings Dog. The project was to small to do a replica of the entire sculpture, so I decided to make just the head. The first picture is of the dog in clay. After a lot of work, using plaster, fibre glass, car filler and a lot of sanding and paint it ended up looking like the picture underneath. This project is the reason I'm now working on a new fibre glass sculpture for my elective. It gave me a sweet taste of sculpturing in 3D, and casting it in fibre glass.

Julius Caesar

I made this painting for Julius Caesar by Shakespeare at the Lazarus Theatre Company. It was my first attempt at painting a gauze. The picture is 4x5m, and so fare it's my biggest painting.
 

Ampersand

This Painting was the first coloured painting I made as a scenic art student. The project involved picking a coloured image, and paint it. The original is from the comic Y: the last man
